DMD Diamond Launches New Grant Program to Foster Innovation in dApps and Blockchain Tools

DMD Diamond, a veteran Layer 1 blockchain founded in 2013, has just officially announced the Diamond Grant Program, an initiative to support the development of decentralized applications (dApps) and blockchain tools to expand the platform's ecosystem.

The program aims to enable talented developers worldwide to realize their ideas while exploiting DMD's unique features such as high security, cross-chain interoperability, and DAO governance.

Encourage innovation and practical contributions
The grant program invites development teams to submit innovative proposals in areas such as DeFi, NFT, GameFi, and other blockchain tools. Selected projects will receive financial funding, along with technical support and access to the global DMD community.

According to Helmut Siedl, one of the co-founders of DMD Diamond and now a strategic advisor:

“Today, I act as a guide, so that the blockchain can develop itself through the DAO mechanism. With the community, I continue to contribute to building a decentralized, transparent and sustainable ecosystem.”

Sponsorship Program Details
🔹 Initial funding: Up to 5,000 USD for 3 outstanding projects running the mainnet for at least 6 months. Potential proposals can receive funding from 100 USD.

🌟 Grand Prize: After 12 months of development and stable operation, outstanding projects can receive a full validator node (10,000 DMD) providing network governance rights and sharing staking revenue.

⏱ Development Time: Initial phase lasts 3-6 months, requires a proof of concept (PoC) with clear milestones.

Project Evaluation Criteria
Innovation (30%): Does the solution uniquely utilize DMD's technical features to solve a real-world problem?

Technical Feasibility (25%): Is the system architecture designed to be sustainable, secure, and deployable?

Ecosystem Impact (25%): Does the project deliver long-term value and encourage users to join the DMD ecosystem?

Community Engagement (20%): How well does the project resonate with the vision of decentralization and open collaboration.
